Fabric again:)

Yesterday I have received a parcel from Deb (artisticneedle) with the lovely fabric I have purchased several weeks ago. All fabric was wrapped in the white thin paper and tied with a beautiful ribbon with the label 'Thank you'. This have made my order more special:) Thank you so much, Deb!

Vakar gavau siuntinį nuo Deb (artisticneedle) su nuostabiomis medžiagėlėmis, kurias pirkau prieš kelias savaites. Medžiagėlės buvo suvynotos į ploną baltą popierių ir perrištos gražia juostele su kortele "Ačiū". Nuo to siuntinys tapo tik dar ypatingesnis:) Ačiū, Deb!

Preparing for Christmas

Yesterday I've stitched this small Christmas motive from a German chart. It was stitched on 32 Belfast Linen Clay (715) with the DMC and Anchor threads I've chosen myself. I was wondering should I use the heart buttons or not, but finally I have decided that they will make the picture look better. But now I am thinking that maybe it will be better without them... And it's not a final framing yet, cause I was just fitting picture to the frame and wanted to see how it looks like. I need to take it out and do the proper framing now:)

Vakar išsiuvinėjau šį vokišką Kalėdinį motyvą. Siuvinėjau ant 32 count Belfast Linen Clay (715) su DMC ir Anchor siūliukais, kuriuos pati parinkau. Ilgai galvojau, ar dekoruoti paveiksliuką širdelės formos sagutėmis, bet nusprendžiau, jog jos jį pagyvins. O dabar mąstau, kad gal geriau būtų be jų... Čia dar ne galutinis rėminimas, kadangi tik 'matavau' rėmelį ir žiūrėjau, kaip viskas tinka.

Nine Heart Picture

Yesterday I have finally finished this picture, which was started in August. I've took this Nine Heart Picture design from Dorothy Wood 'Country Cross Stitch' book. When I saw it for the first time, I liked it. But when I was in the middle of cross stitching, I wasn't so sure about it anymore. Now I even don't know if I am going to frame it. Maybe I could make something else instead of a picture. Any ideas?:)

Cross stitched on 28 count Zweigart Cashel Linen Antique White (101) with Anchor threads.

Vakar pagaliau pabaigiau paveiksliuką, kurį buvau pradėjus siuvinėti rugpjūtį. Šis Nine Heart Picture paveikslas siuvinėtas iš Dorothy Wood knygos 'Country Cross Stitch'. Kai pirmą kartą pamačiau, man jis labai patiko. Bet įpusėjus siuvinėti jau nebuvau tuo tikra. Dabar net nebežinau, ar rėminsiu, ar panaudosiu kažkur kitur. Turit pasiūlymų?:)

Fabric

Yesterday I've bough some fabric. I am not good at sewing. Actually I've almost never done that:) But when I saw this wonderul fabric, I couldn't stand out and already had some things in my head what I could use it for. As a result I think about buying a sewing machine now:)

Vakar nusipirkau šiek tiek medžiagėlių. Nesu gera siuvėja. Tiksliau pasakius, beveik niekad ir nesiuvau. Bet kai pamačiau šias nuostabias medžiagytes, negalėjau susilaikyti ir jau žinojau, kam galėčiau jas panaudoti. Dabar man jau reikia siuvimo mašinos:)

A Mon Ami Pierre

I have seen this wonderful A Mon Ami Pierre desing at Carol's page and felt in love with this beautiful design and pinkeeper. Of course, I needed to have it too!:) It was my first pinkeep project so far. Although I didn't follow the list of threads and linen and tried to use what I have already had. I stitched it on 28 count Quaker Cloth Sand (322) with various DMC and some Anchor threads. I have tried to match most of the colours except the light blue colour for the stitched letters. I decided to use green instead for to make a better match with the cloth I am going to use for it.

Aptikau šį nuostabų A Mon Ami Pierre paveksliuką Carol puslapyje ir iškart man prisireikė šio puikaus daikčiuko:) Tai mano pirmoji adatinė. Siūlus ir medžiagą rinkausi iš tų, ką jau turėjau. Siuvinėjau ant 28 Quaker Cloth Sand (322) su DMC ir kai kuriais Anchor siūliukais. Visas spalvas bandžiau atrinkti kuo panašesnes iš turimų, išskyrus šviesiai melsvą spalvą raidėms. Vietoj jos nusprendžiau naudoti žalią, kuri geriau derinasi su medžiaga, kurią ketinu naudoti apipavidalinimui.

An unusual colour usual scarf

Šeštadienį pabaigiau mezgti šaliką. Paprastai megztas ilgas šalikas, tik man labai patinka jo spalva su melsvu metalo žvilgesiu. Nuotraukoj jis geriau matosi ant siūlų, nei ant šaliko. Nors realybėj šaliko spalva šiek tiek tamsesnė nei nuotraukoj. Ech, tas apsiniaukęs rudeniškas Anglijos oras. Sunku net nufotografuoti padoriai:)

I've finished my scarf on Saturday. It's a simple knitted long scarf, just I love the colour of the yarn with blue metal shine. The photo doesn't show it much on the scarf. It is better seen on the yarn. Although even the colour of the scarf is a bit darker in reality. Ah, that cloudy English autumn weather... It starts to be impossible taking normal photos:)

Šiandien atradau kai ką įdomaus Susimac puslapyje, apie vizualaus profilio susikūrimą. Aišku, negalėjau tam atsispirti ir štai kas gavosi. Aš taip pat negalėjau patikėti jo tikslumu. Ir aprašymas yra daug geresnis nei vien tik nuotraukos.

Joan Elliott's Scandinavian style

Pastebėjau, kad dauguma siuvinėtojų mėgsta siuvinėti metų laikų paveiksliukus ar mažas smulkmenas. Panašu, kad aš praleidau rudenį ir nuskubėjau tiesiai į žiemą su šiuo Joan Elliott Scandinavian style paveiksliuku:) Kadangi turėjau baltos Aida 18 medžiagėlės, nusprendžiau siuvinėti ant jos su DMC 498 siūliuku. Vis dar nesu tikra, kur panaudosiu šį paveiksliuką, bet greičiausiai tai bus maža kvapni Kalėdinė pagalvėlė ar mažytė dovanėlė:)

Nuotraukoje taip pat matosi Kalėdinė girlianda, kurią pagaminau pernai.

I've noticed that many cross stitchers like to stitch seasonal pictures or small seasonal details. So, it looks like I've skipped an autumn and went stright to the winter with this Joan Elliott's monohrome Scandinavian style design picture:) As I've had some unused white Aida count 18, I decided to stitch on it with DMC 498 thread. I am still not sure where I will use this picture, but most likely I turn it into a small Christmas sachet or a small gift:)

The decoration of the picture is Christmas garland I've made last year.

LHN Daisy Lane Cottage

Pradedu savo pirmąjį blogą šiuo nedideliu ir mielu Little House Needleworks darbeliu Daisy Lane Cottage. Buvo tikrai malonu jį siuvinėti. Tik šiek tiek pasigailėjau, kad nenufotografavau siūliukų ir medžiagėlės prieš siuvinėjant, ką darydavau anksčiau. Dabar belieka surasti baltą medinį rėmelį ir įrėminti:)

I am starting my first blog with this small and cute work Daisy Lane Cottage of Little House Needleworks. It was a real pleasure to stitch it. Although I felt a bit guilty that I didn't make a shot of all threads and linen cloth before stitching as I was used to do it earlier. All I need now is to find a white wooden frame and to frame it:)
